Raw Milk
We purchase raw milk from a local farm that we trust. My children had some insensitivities and health concerns and after much research, we discovered raw milk would be best for us. Since switching, we have seen vast improvements. Raw milk has so many good benefits and we love the taste! Our milk, cream, butter and yogurt are all made using raw milk. Occasionally, we have some left over cream that I didn’t use in cooking and this is a perfect way to use that up!

Mason Jar Homemade Ice Cream
Ingredients
- Pinch of Salt
- 1.5 tsp vanilla extract (we make our own)
- 1.5 TBSP sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream (we prefer raw)
- Any additional flavorings
Directions
- Add first 4 ingredients to a pint mason jar
- Place lid and shake continuously for 4-5 minutes. Don’t over shake or you’ll end up with whipped cream. The mixture should thickly coat the back of a spoon.
- Freeze for 2-3 hours until its a soft-serve consistency but not much longer or you’ll get unwanted ice crystals forming.
